Execution Policy
The Execution Policy sets out how Daxchain executes a client order to buy crypto-assets with a payment card, the role Daxchain takes in that transaction, and how the price and fees a client is shown relate to the price at which the order is finally executed.
Document status
The full text of the Execution Policy has not yet been published on this site. This page exists so that references to the document from within the platform resolve to a real location rather than a dead link, and it will be replaced by the complete text once that text is issued.
What the document will cover
- that Daxchain executes an order on the client’s behalf with a liquidity provider, and does not act as the counterparty to it;
- why the exchange rate shown before an order is placed is indicative, and when the rate that applies is fixed;
- the Service Fee charged by Daxchain for executing the order, and when it is disclosed;
- how the executed crypto-assets are credited to the client’s Daxchain wallet, and what happens if an order cannot be executed.
Execution, not exchange
A Buy order is an order execution service. Daxchain executes the order with a liquidity provider at that provider’s quoted rate and credits the resulting crypto-assets to the client’s wallet. It is not an exchange: a client does not trade directly with another user, and Daxchain does not take the other side of the order.
